Milioni di visualizzazioni, migliaia di like sui social e richieste di contatto dalle più importanti testate mondiali: è quello che è successo a Fabrizio Galli dopo il primo corso del Carnevale di Viareggio con l’uscita di “Il Pa-Drone”, il carro allegorico dedicato al Presidente USA Trump che concorre nella 1° categoria.

La maestosa opera d’arte in cartapesta ha suscitato l'interesse dell’entourage di Donald Trump, al punto che Emerald Robinson, capo-corrispondente della Casa Bianca, ha iniziato a seguire il carrista Galli su twitter e ha condiviso sui propri canali social le immagini del carro dedicato a The God Emperor.

In pochi minuti la notizia è stata rilanciata da buona parte della stampa mondiale: dal Time all’Insider, da FowNews a Newsweek, poi Huffington Post ed Euronews fino all’araba Al-Bawaba.

Il carro, ispirato al personaggio dominante di Warhammer 40.000, fa parlare di sé per le sue dimensioni mastodontiche – sfiora i 20 metri di altezza – ma anche e soprattutto per il tema: le sapienti mani di Fabrizio Galli hanno reso palpabile l’ambizione del presidente americano di rilanciare le missioni Nasa sulla Luna e di creare il primo esercito spaziale. “Il mito superlativo del potere su tutto l’universo”, come lo descrive il carrista Galli.

Questo non è più il tempo degli intellettuali, dei filosofi e della ormai vecchia e logora cultura, siamo nell’era del fantasy, dei video-games, della virtual life. Il maschio dominante all’ennesima potenza è arrivato, democraticamente, ma è qui tra noi. Vola il Pa-Drone sul lungomare di Viareggio. E mo…son “Dazzi Vostri”.

The political satire of Viareggio Carnival achieves the objective and reaches the White House

Millions of views, thousands of likes on social media and contact requests from the most important newspapers in the world: this is what happened to Fabrizio Galli after the first parade of Viareggio Carnival and the release of "Il Pa-Drone", the allegorical float dedicated to the US President Trump, competing in the 1st category.
The majestic papier-mâché work of art caught the attention of Donald Trump's entourage and Emerald Robinson, chief-correspondent of the White House, began to follow Galli on Twitter and shared the images of the float dedicated to The God Emperor on his social media channels.
In few minutes the news has been re-launched by a large part of the world press: from the Time to Insider, from FowNews to Newsweek, from Huffington Post and Euronews to the Arab-Al-Bawaba and the Russian RT News.
The float was meant to emulate the “dominant character” of the war game Warhammer 40k, with the soundtrack of the Sabaton. It is echoing for its gigantic dimensions - almost 20 meters high - but mostly for the theme: the expert hands of Fabrizio Galli made the ambition of the American president to relaunch the missions on the Moon and to create the first space army palpable. "The superlative myth of power over the whole universe", as the creator Galli describes it.
The time of intellectuals, philosophers and of old and worn culture is over. We have entered the era of fantasy, videogames and virtual life. The dominant male par-excellence has arrived, democratically, and is now here, among us. The Pa-Drone* flies over the Viareggio promenade and now, as written on the float, "Dazzi Vostri"**.


*Union between “Padrone” and “Drone”. Padrone in Italian stands for “Boss”, and Drone has the same meaning.

** Meaning: "Dazzi" means "Taxes". Literally "Dazzi Vostri" means "your taxes", but “Dazzi vostri” is similar to the colloquial expression "Cazzi Vostri", which stands for “and now is your own mess”. The world has now to pay the "price".
